The general Archive of his literary work (poetry, narrative, essays, theatre from 2017) is deposited in the Marucelliana Library of Florence, which also holds nine folders containing his private documents and papers, which can be consulted by law terms and, on request, by his direct descendants and by any academics who may be interested in both the work and the biograpgy of the author.
His Theatrical Fund, that from 2017 gradually merged together with the Literary one, is deposited at the SIAE Biblioteca Museo Teatrale, in Rome; from 2024 only the theatrical works went to the SIAE/DOR, while all other works regarding his theatre activity went to the Marucelliana, in Florence.
Given the existence in the Bucardo Library of a diversification database based on the type of the documents, as in similiar collections, a classification and organisation of the material has been arranged.
In the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan the "Handbooks" of Renzo Ricchi are deposited.
His journalistic Fund (pieces published on newspapers and a wide part of his television pieces, as well, transmitted by RAI-Radiotelevisione Italiana during the years he has been its editor) is deposited and catalogued at the Filippo Turati Foundation of Florence.
